Call of Duty: Black Ops 4′ patch will address network performance

‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’ will address its network performance in an upcoming update.

The game’s developer Treyarch has been rolling out new patches almost daily since the game’s release earlier this month, and while the latest will make stability improvements on all modes – on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC – there is more to be refined.

In a post on Reddit, the company said: "We’re constantly working to optimize the game, and particularly network performance, to ensure the highest quality online experience for our players.

"Now that we’re past the initial launch of the game, we are focusing on fine-tuning network performance around the globe, using the real-world data that we have collected.

"Over the course of the next two weeks, we will roll out several updates to our network setup that will continue to improve upon the experience of our players since launch."

The company also reiterated its promise to ensure ‘Black Ops 4’ continues to be well supported well beyond its initial launch.

It added: "As we have always said, launch is just the beginning, and we’re committed to making ‘Black Ops 4’ the best-supported game we’ve ever delivered."
